Satisfy Me Page 7

With deliberate thrusts Ty’s cock hit her spot. The one that hurled her toward release. Feelings bombarded her body, pleasure, hope, desire … love. “Ty, I’m coming. I’m going to come again.”

Her body splintered like weathered wood battered from a storm as an orgasm with the strength of an earthquake rocked her to the core.

Ty’s seed spurt inside her. Fingers squeezed her nipples. Still he kept thrusting. “Damn baby, you do something to me. I’m filling you up with my seed.”

Exhaustion overtook her body causing Maggie to collapse against his chest. Finally, Ty stopped moving. He just held her. His erection still half in her. His thumping heart pounded against her cheek. “They left me, Maggie. I chased them both away.”

Without intending to, he let the words slip from his mouth. He had to. Ty knew that. After what he’d just experienced with Maggie, after what she’d brought into his life in such a short time he owed her that. Hell, he owed her a lot more. More like his life. She’d given it back to him when he hadn’t even known it was missing. Now that he did, he’d be damned before he let her go. Maggie, he couldn’t live without. He wouldn’t let her leave him as well.

  “Who left you, hon?”

“I was five, Ethan four and Shane only a few weeks old. I remember he was a fussy little shit. Always crying and taking up Mom’s attention. Dad was at work, and the kitchen was a mess so I put the dishes in the dishwasher best I could remembering what I’d seen my mom do. I grabbed the wrong soap though. After filling the damn thing with regular dish soap I turned the washer on and then went to play with Ethan.

“A little while later we rounded the corner to the kitchen and there were suds everywhere. Hell, we were only four and five so to us it was a damn playground. We went a little crazy, playing, sliding around, basically being little boys. Shane had finally gone down for a nap but with Ethan and me playing and laughing so loud he woke up and started crying. I’ll never forget the look on my mom’s face when she came into the kitchen and saw the mess. It was pure hatred.

“She grabbed Ethan to swat him but I stopped her, told her it was my fault so she spanked me instead. Then calm as anything she walked to her room and locked the door.” Maggie’s hand had begun threading through the hairs on his chest. She wanted to comfort him. That he could tell and to his surprise, it worked.

“I took care of my brothers until Dad came home. When he did he went into the room with her and they fought half the night. My dad slept in the guest room that night but I couldn’t sleep. Sometime in the middle of the night I heard a noise. I snuck into the hall and saw my mom walking out the door with a suitcase. I could have stopped her, knew it would break my dad’s heart but I didn’t. The anger from the way she treated us ever since I could remember kept me quiet. She walked out and I didn’t do a damn thing to stop her.”

“Ty, hon, it wasn’t your fault. You were five years old, for God’s sake.”

Her eyes pierced him to the soul. Right now they were too much. Ty pulled her back down to lie on his chest. “I know that, Maggie. I do. Still, I should have stopped her for Dad and my brothers. They needed her.”

“What about you? Did you need her?”

“No. I knew what she was up to. Knew about the other man who came to our house while my dad was at work. If she loved him more than us I was happy to let her go to him.”

Maggie leaned up to look at him. “I’m so sorry.”

“You haven’t heard the worst part yet.” This time when she rested on her elbow to watch him he didn’t turn her away. She comforted him. “I almost married a woman just like her. You’d have thought I’d know better, right? I didn’t. I fell head over heels for a woman who fucked half the guys in town behind my back. With Mel, I didn’t even know it until she left.”

The heavy ache that resided in his chest for years eased with each word he spoke to her, with each touch from her delicate hands.

“I love you, Ty. You have to know I’d never hurt you. I’d never leave you.”

Ty sat up on her bed. Maggie rested in his lap, her legs wrapped around his waist. “I never thought I’d want to hear those words from a woman, Maggie, but God help me I need to hear you say them again.”

“I love you for the gentle soul that rests inside you that you hide to the world. I love you for letting me be the person who sees it. I love you for your strength, your gruff attitude, the way you touch me like I’m fine china. I love you, Ty.”

“Jesus, baby, I love you too. You’ve given me so much more than you’ll ever know. You trusted me with your heart and your body when I didn’t deserve it and I’ll never take that for granted again.” He slanted his mouth over hers, taking her lips in a slow, gentle kiss. Her arms and legs tightened around him, begging for more.

Maggie arched her neck backwards giving him access to her throat. Ty nuzzled her there, kissing her.

  “I…”

“What, baby? What do you need?”

  “You, Ty. Now and forever.”

He pushed his hips forward stroking his again hardened cock between the lips of her pussy. “Is this what you want, baby?”

“Yes! Satisfy me, Ty. Like only you can.”

  Epilogue

Ty opened one of the boxes of Maggie’s things. Crazy woman hadn’t labeled anything when she packed so he had no idea which room any of her things went in. Sitting on the top of the box was a picture that froze his blood. “Casper? What the hell is she doing with a picture of Casper?”

Right then Maggie walked into the room. “What’s that?”

Ty held the picture up so she could see it. “Do you know this woman?” he demanded, taking a seat on a chair.

Maggie knelt beside him on the floor and stroked the picture. “I know this is going to sound crazy but she’s the reason I found you.”

  Ty smiled. “Tell me how.”

“My mom started dating my father and quickly ended up pregnant with me. Dad came from money and his whole family thought they were too good for her but since I was on the way, they married. Grandma was furious. I guess she thought she was wasting her life with someone she didn’t love. They fought and then a few weeks later my grandma passed away from a heart attack.

“My mom and dad stayed married and she molded herself to fit his lifestyle and raised me the same. When she died I felt so alone, Ty.”

“Baby, I’m so sorry.” Ty pulled her up to sit on his lap.

“Then out of the blue I found a journal. It was my grandmother’s. Her words motivated me take my life back. I love my dad and always will but I think we’re better off living away from each other. Like I told you before, I quit my job and ended up here.” Ty grabbed her hand while she spoke. “You’ll probably think I’m a nut but I’d like to believe she led me to you. That she knew my happiness waited for me in a little town called Last Chance. Does that sound crazy?”

Ty let out a laugh. “Not at all and I think you’re right.”

  “You do?”

“I think your grandma was a wonderful, strong, spitfire of a woman and she wanted nothing more than to see you happy. I think she did everything in her power to lead you right where you belong.” Ty sent up a silent thank you to Casper. He owed the woman his life, his happiness. “I think we should hang this picture somewhere special, what do you think? Somewhere she can watch over us.”

  “I think she already is.”

He kissed her. “Me too, baby. Me too.”
